Supportive, healing virtual therapy for couples and individuals in Virginia and Florida

Services:

  • Sex therapy is a specialized talk therapy focused on resolving sexual concerns such as low desire or performance anxiety. Individuals or couples may also seek sex therapy for illness or aging related complications, or when healing from sexual trauma. Couples often come to sex therapy when sexual issues are impacting their relationship.

Talking about sex is difficult for many so I seek to provide a safe, judgement free atmosphere for my clients. When dealing with sexual concerns some may feel embarrassed and alone. I provide a safe place to heal from sexual issues that are hindering you from achieving the intimacy and pleasure you desire.

  • Relationship therapy helps couples build connection and increase vulnerability. Common issues that challenge this connection are unresolved conflict, busyness, and life transitions. I aid couples in removing the barriers between them so they can have a relationship that is healing instead of damaging.

Relationship therapy is also for individuals who are struggling to build and maintain healthy connections with family, friends, or in romantic partnerships. Individuals will benefit from exploring relational patterns and setting healthy boundaries.

  • Premarital counseling is designed to aid couples in preparing for marriage and has been shown to positively impact marital satisfaction. I equip couples with healthy communication and conflict resolution skills. I also facilitate discussions on common areas of conflict including finances, core values, family/cultural backgrounds, and sexual expectations.

  • Supervision is available for pre-licensed or licensed therapists who are interested in developing their clinical skills in the areas of couples and sex therapy. If you desire a supportive environment to grow, learn, and gain more clinical confidence in these areas, you are in the right place!

For pre-licensed LPC and LMFT therapists in Virginia, supervision counts towards licensure.
